This November and December, spend Friday and Saturday evenings savoring live jazz, seasonal coastal cuisine, and the elegance of one of Cape Cod’s premier dining destinations. Cape Symphony Presents: Duo Andalus

Duo Andalus brings Arabic, Hebrew, and Spanish songs from the Mediterranean to North Africa to Wellfleet Preservation Hall.

Vocalist Lala Tamar makes her Cape Cod debut alongside flamenco guitarist and oud virtuoso Ofer Ronen in an encounter between voice and strings, cultures and sounds.

Performing as Duo Andalus, the two carry traditional and original songs sung in Arabic, Hebrew, and Spanish. Tamar, born to Moroccan-Brazilian Jewish parents, is a singer, poet, and guimbri player whose credits include a Lincoln Center debut and the first contemporary album recorded in Haquetia. Ronen is a musicologist and a leading interpreter of flamenco and Middle Eastern music.

Together they honor the roots of three cultures as one, in this exceptional, family-friendly concert.

The Vinyl Listening Lounge is back! Join Cape Symphony Presents at The Old Village Store for an evening inspired by Tokyo’s jazz cafés.

Rooted in Japan’s jazz kissa tradition, listening lounges bring people together to slow down and appreciate carefully selected records on exceptional sound systems. Settle into a seat, enjoy something delicious, and let the music take center stage.

DJ Rhythmryder brings more than 30 years of selecting records, curating music, and shaping audio experiences to this Tokyo jazz session. A high-fidelity sound system paired with the room’s excellent acoustics will bring out the warmth, texture, and detail of every record.

With delicious food, great wine and beer selections, and shelves filled with books and local finds, The Old Village Store offers something for everyone in a welcoming neighborhood setting.
